Nero Vivo

Nero Vivo is one of those refurbished bungalow-cum-restaurant types, and it's nestled away in Ceylon Hill. it's a fairly nice area, rather peaceful with not too many cars passing by, perfect for a quiet and cosy dinner.

The atmosphere of the place is classy and very romantic, much like Ciao (on Jln Tun Razak), only not as hushed. diners here are mostly expatriates or yuppies, and couples on a date. the interior is nicely decorated with tasteful artwork and warm hues, and outside is an al fresco section, overseeing a good ol' brick pizza oven that lends a comforting touch of homeyness to the sophisticated furnishing of the restaurant.

Antipasto buffet at Nerovivo offers a wide ranch of Italian favourites. Beef carpaccio, tomato caprese, sautéed tiger prawns and cold pasta are some of the delectable offering one would find, though bear in mind the dishes does change daily.

Available daily from 12noon to 3pm, it can be had as part of the daily set lunch except Saturday. Nerovivo is closed for lunch on Saturday.
